Weddell seals can aparently close their nostrils individually. They also aparently have no sense of smell!

The only leopard seals we saw were basking on small icebergs. This one has the remains of its meal - probably a penguin.
Ring-ins
These are not seals, and they are no-where near Antarctica. They are northern sea-lions that have commandeered a marina in San Francisco. Photo taken on our return journey.
